  • Western - This Modern or Intuitive school of thought favors western points of view over classical Chinese symbols. Western viewpoints on balancing Chi in a space are supported by the principles of the classical Feng Shui.

It is common to use a combination of these three schools in Feng Shui decorating. In fact, many interior designers and Feng Shui consultants use a mixture of these different school of Feng Shui philosophies.
